How about an opera concert with a French song, fabulous food and views in the Cape Winelands? This is all on offer with French Songbook, presented by Cape Town Opera. The concert is taking place on October 9, 2021 at Quoin Rock Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. The performers are Cape Town Opera’s dazzling young Brittany Smith (soprano) and Ané Pretorius (soprano). They will be accompanied on piano, by the opera’s managing director, Alex Gabriel. French Songbook, is a concert which celebrates a century of French mélodie (song), from the 1840s – 1940s. Each concert ticket include a 2-course lunch, created by Quoin Rock’s head chef, Jack Coetzee.
