Okay, we get it. There is so much happening online. It is difficult to work out what is on for a limited period and what will remain in digital space – for viewing at one’s convenience.
? Great news is that the fabulous JOMBA team have made a selection of winners of the in the 22nd JOMBA! Contemporary Dance Experience Digital Fringe and the films – of the dance works staged digitally -are available for viewing as video-on-demand. Watch when you have a moment. ?
The winners were selected from a showcase of eight by dance makers from South Africa, the DRC, Uganda and Madagascar.

The three winners are:
✅ Robert Ssempijja (Uganda) – The Myth Of Self Isolation
✅ Sabelo Cele (Durban) – (Rea)-Leaze Chains
✅ Pavishen Paideya (Durban) –Aham – I Am
The winners will receive honorariums of R2000, R1500, and R1000 respectively. Bravo to JOMBA! – cash is much appreciated by creatives during the pandemic of Covid-19.
