“Melomania” means an abnormal or excessive love of music. It comes from the Latin ‘Melody’ and ‘Mania’ and Followspot Productions is inviting us to a live musical/comedy quiz at The Kalk Bay Theatre, with its new show, Melomania, which is on, August 7-24, 2025.
Do you know who sings that? What decade was that? Oh, it is on the tip of my tongue – can you give me a sec? Wait I know that tune? The fun is in guessing the song in Melomania which is a live music show and also a quiz.
There’s loads of audience participation – for those that want to be involved. No worries, if you want to sit back and watch others vying for points. Music spans multiple genres and styles and is geared for a wide range of ages and includes ballads, pop and disco.
Three Divas will get the venue pumping and yes there will be prizes up for grabs. The winner will walk away with tickets to a future show at the KBT, a bottle of Amarula and a 50% off voucher to dinner for two at the Theatre Restaurant at the Brass Bell.
