A much anticipated concert at Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts season 2024/2025 is The Golden Oldies which is taking place on Sunday February 16, 2025. The concert is a wonderful way to celebrate the Valentine’s Day weekend with a stunning lineup. The Golden Oldies is a platform which was established in 2023 by entertainer Terry Fortune. His vison was to provide a platform for ‘golden oldies’, veterans in the live performance sector. Fortune says: “When we started, young people smiled and said ‘how sweet’. They thought it was just a one off and the old toppies will disappear into the cupboard of memories but here we are again, 55 gigs, a growing brand of old timers making music and bringing joy to many. This is our third concert at Kirstenbosch but most important it has opened doors for others.
