ImproGuise, the award winning improv troupe is holding its year-end Improv Mixer at The Galloway Theatre on Friday December 6, 2024 (7.30pm to 9.30pm). There will be two parts to this show. To add to the good vibes, with this show, ImproGuise is supporting the #Feed5000 campaign, headed up by Ladles of Love and is inviting the audience to donate tins of non-perishable items on the night. Check out your pantry and take tins you have not used (but check the expiry dates). If you cannot attend the show, there is a donate link. Live a little. Give a lot! With the ImproGuise year-end Improv Mixer 💫

Prepare for a night of laughter, spontaneity and giving at the End of Year Improv Mixer, presented by the award-winning troupe, ImproGuise, on Friday December 6, 2024, at The Galloway Theatre.

As Cape Town’s oldest improv troupe, ImproGuise will showcase a diverse line-up of improvisers for an entertaining evening, featuring:

Part 1: A showcase of classic improv games with performers from beginners to veterans.

Part 2: A journey through the year’s highlights with our veteran improvisers, filled with humour and heart, story and song.

And there’s more! As we close out 2024 with an unforgettable evening of comedy and kindness, help us make a difference by supporting the #Feed5000 campaign. This year Hope Exchange, supported by the team at Ladles of Love [https://ladlesoflove.org.za/], aims to feed 10,000 people. And they could really use your donations.

We’re asking all audience members to bring along non-perishable foods to the show. Think of it as improvising a raid on your kitchen—if we just cleared out the pantries in the suburbs, we could feed thousands. “Can” you “peas” help us reach our goal? Are you ready to “rice” to the challenge? Have you ever “beans” so inspired?

Hope Exchange’s volunteers are working tirelessly this month, spreading love and nourishment to our community. Donations of dried and canned foods (rice, pasta, grains, pulses, beans, canned goods, long-life milk, juice and even paper plates) are all welcome. Just remember: don’t donate something you wouldn’t serve to your friends—a friend in need is a friend indeed.
