The closing weekend of the FynArts Festival culminates in an eclectic programme of five performances spanning across genres and showcasing dance and percussion as well as crossover, comedy and classics.


                        Volley Nchabeleng                                              JazzArt Dance Theatre Company

Starting on Saturday June 15, you can listen at lunchtime to the electrifying sounds of Amani ya Ndani , (inner peace in Swahili,) with percussionists Volley Nchabeleng and Micca Manganye. You can also enjoy a matinee or evening performance of Limitless, showcasing the youthful energy of dancers from the award-winning Jazzart Dance Theatre Company.

In this solo stand-up show, Marc shares his favourite stories from over the years, as well as some of his newest material weaving in his outrageous views on the madness of current life in our country. Marc has been in the funny business for more than twenty years, keeping audiences in stitches with his award-winning one-man shows and musicals. Marc was inducted into the SA Comics’ Choice Hall of Fame. He has also been the recipient of two Fleur de Cap Awards and a Naledi Award. PG U16    
     

                             
Scullery Quintet                                    Hein Attwood and Enlighten String Ensemble   
                                          
On the evening of Sunday June 16, the new and unconventional Scullery Quintet will showcase Everything but the Kitchen Sink and their unique blend of the classic string quartet sound accompanied by a jazz rhythm section led by triple SAMA award winner and jazz drummer, Peter Auret.
