A wonderful programme of jazz concerts has been announced by the Cape Town Music Academy for its Cape Town Jazz Greats Home Coming Series which is happening from March to October 2025. The Cape Town Music Academy is proud to present its top-shelf jazz series, featuring an incredible lineup of local and international jazz musicians. The series kicks off with the talented Thandeka Dladla!
Thandeka Dladla: A Rising Star in the Jazz Scene
Thandeka Dladla is a gifted singer and composer from Johannesburg, South Africa. Born into a family of music lovers, she began formal classical music training at 12. She later pursued a degree in Jazz Performance at the University of Cape Town.
Thandeka’s voice is ethereal, emotional, and introspective, captivating audiences of all ages. She has performed at various venues, from intimate cafes to renowned music festivals.

Thandeka will take the stage on Friday, March 21, at 8 pm at the Homecoming Theatre (formerly The Fugard) in District Six, accompanied by her stellar band:
