Viennese born Harald Sitta who lives in Johannesburg, has been bringing opera to Joburg, through his company, SITTOPERA™- which facilitates opera and classic music events- at the heritage Rand Club in Johannesburg. Sitta is a committed patron of the arts. An attorney by profession, he graduated Dr iuris from University of Vienna ans now does opera events as a passion project. During 2021, lockdown SITTOPERA™, presented seven opera soirees at The Rand Club. A fabulous programme has been announced for SITTOPERA™ Season 2022 – subject to the vagaries of the pandemic and lockdown strictures. All events are filmed and start promptly with no late arrivals. The 2022 season will run from February to December 2022- with a June/July winter break. The programme is subject to change –international travel restrictions and lockdown regulations. Sitta says that SITTOPERA™ will endeavour to make a plan and ensure that the show goes on. Good to know: if you book for five events or more in advance, you will receive a 15% discount on your tickets. On Saturday January 22, 2022, there will be a presentation of the SITTOPERA™ season 2022 programme in the Armory, at the Rand Club. There is no charge to attend. Bubbly and nibbles, will be served.

About Harald Sitta – founder of SITTOPERA™ Attorney and mediator Harald Sitta is an attorney by profession- attorney emeritus ( Vienna Chamber). In Austria. He worked as an attorney in Vienna and was a registered mediator – General Civil Law (excluding Family Law), Commercial and Companies Law, Labour relation Law, Tax Law, Environment Protection Law, Law of EU and EG.
