This exciting all-day lifestyle event takes place on Saturday November 28, in the Company’s Garden, one of the city’s most iconic outdoor public spaces, set against the magnificent natural backdrop of Table Mountain.
Best Day Out brings together a sensational mix of live music, Djs, family-friendly activities, food vendors, craft drinks, market stalls, lifestyle brands and awesome interactive experiences.

Best Day Out
Now in its third year, Best Day Out is a fun-filled, family-friendly lifestyle event, that transforms one of the city’s most beloved public spaces into a living, breathing celebration of everything that makes Cape Town great – its people, its talent, its culture. From independent craft food and beverage vendors to local brands and from talented South African performing artists to family friendly lawn games, kids, couples, friends and families all find their place here.
The one-day festival is held annually on a Saturday in November, kicking off the start of summer and getting into the heady vibes of connection, community and family fun.
In 2025, almost 1500 people enjoyed the event, featuring nine headline artists and DJs alongside more than twenty curated food, drink, and retail vendors.
