I saw David Kramer’s Ver In Die Wêreld Kittie at Suidoosterfees and I raved about this breathtakingly original musical. The award winning musical is on at the Blik, Epping, Cape Town until August 11, 2024 – this weekend. The production has been expanded and for this run and has surtitles in English. Shortly after I saw the production at the Blik, I became ill and was unable to put a review. Now with the season about to wrap up, I am taking the opportunity to give a shout-out to this beautiful musical. It is interesting to see it with English surtitles and undoubtedly it makes the text accessible for a wider audience. I enjoyed seeing the production in the new venue of The Blik – the fruit and veg market in Epping.
