Mr and Miss Sovereign Western Cape 2025 celebrates 15 years

It gives us great pleasure to announce the 15th Annual Miss Sovereign Western Cape 2025 and the third Mr. Sovereign Western Cape 2025 Pageant which will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Joseph Stone Auditorium. The 2025 edition will see 16 finalists take to the stage and showcase their best in themed wear, swimwear and evening wear as they vie for these very prestigious titles.


The Sovereign pageant, previously known as Miss Gay Western Cape, however, is more than just entertainment. It also serves as a vehicle to educate our communities to respect and show tolerance towards people from diverse sexual orientation, cultural, religious – and racial backgrounds and stands firm in the belief that deconstructing and breaking down the barriers of shame and intolerance are important steps in creating a just and equitable society.

Before selecting the winners our top 5 contestants will be challenged, as always, by our panel of judges with a Q&A in order to determine who has the full package to represent not only the Sovereign brand, but also the LGBTQIA+ community. Scores are tallied and the new King & Queen announced.

This year entertainment will be provided by the likes of Idols SA and Maak My Famous Star, Daylin Sass, Beaulah: Queens van die Kaap Star Manila von Teez, as well as the Omnia Dancers, to name a few. Our seasoned MC, Naythan Kayser, will keep the crowd well entertained and the show flowing flawlessly.
