The Open Day Experience includes:

The College of Magic’s structured beginner courses use magic as a practical tool to develop confidence, communication skills, discipline and creative thinking. These skills consistently translate into success on stage, in school and in life.
What’s New and Why It Matters
A major highlight of 2025 was the College of Magic being featured in global superstar magician David Blaine’s Disney+ television series. During production, College of Magic students met, interacted with and learned directly from Blaine, gaining rare insight into professional standards at the highest international level.
That experience did not remain theoretical. Students went on to deliver highly successful public performances at local theatres and most recently, during the festive season at the V&A Waterfront. These real-world outcomes demonstrate the strength of the College’s training model and its ability to prepare students for genuine performance environments.
According to the College, these experiences accelerate learning in ways no classroom alone can achieve. Students gain confidence through responsibility, resilience through live performance and perspective by engaging with mentors at the top of the industry.
“Magic is an ideal platform for learning essential life skills. Our beginner courses help students discover confidence and communication abilities they never knew they had,” said David Gore, Training Director of the College of Magic. “The Open Days are your chance to see first-hand what makes our program effective and inspiring.”
