The organisation, Miracle Kidz which is a haven for abused, abandoned and neglected babies and toddlers was established in Cape Town by Elsie Du Plessis. She grew up in foster care and her experiences sparked her to put in place a safe house for abused, abandoned, and neglected babies and toddlers. To raise much needed funds for Miracle Kidz, on March 7, award winning Godfrey Johnson is performing in a variety concert. Godfrey Johnson is hosting a fundraising variety concert at Wynberg Boys’ High – comedy, cabaret, poetry and song in support of Miracle Kidz Safe House
The community is invited to a two-night fundraising concert as Godfrey Johnson presents “With a Little Help From My Friends” on Saturday, March , 7, 2026, at Wynberg Boys’ High School The show runs from 19:00 to 20:30.
More than a concert, the event is a variety evening featuring comedy, cabaret, monologues, poetry, and lots of song. Johnson will be joined on stage by guest artists including Adrienne Haan, Tersia Harley, Brandon Faasen, Debby Jamieson, Nicola Hetz, Dimpho Soboyisi, and Joelle K, all coming together to raise l funds for Miracle Kidz Safe House.
